Jesus often speaks in parables. When we look at what a pearl represents, it’s more than just an ornament for beautiful jewelry. There are some big representations here when Jesus speaks of pearls, dogs, and swine. Jesus warns not to give that which is holy unto dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine. If just reading this, it may seem simple, but if we take a moment to understand what this truly means, we can apply it to our lives.
