June Reflection

With the launch of the new website, I’m focusing on fine-tuning every detial to ensure it runs smoothly and is easy fo ryou to navigate.

June holds a special place in my heart, as it’s the month when I lost two of my closest family members. This year, I want to honor their memory by launching this website within June - a way to celebrate their lives and reflect on the lasting impact they’ve had on my growing up.

Weekly reflections will be a verse or a short passage of scripture that we can focus on together each week. Reflecting on God’s promises He has made to us and the hope we have through Jesus Christ.

Our world is facing so much right now. I do keep up with current events, but I try not to let them take over my mind and heart. Since the beginning, this world has been filled with sin- and now, with technology and social media, we see so much that it can feel like an overwhelming flood of information. That’s why it’s so important to pause and remind ourselves daily of God’s love and promises for us.

Psalm 33 is a beautiful reminder of all God’s greatness still at work in this world through you and me. The greatness comes from God’s promises of His love towards us, and even through the darkest storms we endure, God never leaves our side; He protects us, holds us, and carries us through until the storm passes.

Whatever you’re facing today, I invite you to slow down and reflect with me, one verse at a time, to truly grasp what the psalmist wrote, embrace God’s promises, and claim His greatness in your life, despite the troubles of the world.

Take each day to lay your burdens at Jesus’ feet: fears, worries, anxieties, or burdens. Reflect on Psalm 33 at the beginning of each day to be refreshed in God’s promises, and renew your mind daily in God’s word. Before you continue to explore the website with the Bible studies or The Roman Road-Map of Salvation, join me in a word of prayer for us as individuals, our families, communities, and our nations.

Let us pray together, my friend…

Heavenly Father,

We come to You, humble at Your feet, to ask for forgiveness of our sins, to cleanse us of any unrighteousness we are unaware of. We ask that You protect each one of us and our loved ones during this time. There are so many events happening in our world today, and we know that news travels faster than it once did, so it seems to be more going on, but we know no matter what, You are in control. We lay our fears, our troubles, and our worries at Your feet. May we lay our burdens down and repent unto You as individuals, a community, and a nation. May Your blessings be upon us, strengthen us by using the armor of God as our example. I pray You will continue to guide me and this website, to be a voice, a light in the darkness we face every day. Without Your guidance, I cannot continue. I pray You guide me, and I ask that You will place this in front of those who need You the most, those who don’t know You, may they come to the knowledge of salvation through Jesus Christ, plus and minus nothing. We know it is the faith in belief, and not of works, that engraves our names in the Lamb’s Book of Life. I ask that You bless those who read these messages. I ask You to put a special blessing on their life, to guide, encourage, and save them. Thank You Father for Your precious Bible, the love letter You preserved for us even today to have a direct line to know who You are, and that You sent Your Only Begotten Son to die as a sacrifice to pay our debt of sin and cleanse us, creating a new creature and having eternal life with You in heaven. God guide the leaders of our communities, nations, and of this world. We ask that they choose to do what is right according to Your Word. We know this world won’t have peace everlasting, but know You will protect and care for us. Your Word tells us to ask and ye shall receive. We ask for Your continued protection and that Your will be done in each of our lives. Those who know You as their Savior, may they have the strength to be bold like Daniel in the lions’ den, brave like David as he faced Goliath, or Esther who humbly and with grace saved her people. May we reflect on Psalm 33, to read it throughout this month and reflect on the promises that You will be with those whose Lord is God. May You write Your words upon our hearts and minds as we face each day and the challenges that may come. You are faithful and keep Your promises to those who love You.

Thank You for this time we can reflect on Your Word, I pray for the remainder of June that we may grow closer to You with each passing day.

God be with us, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
