Reflecting on the thought of how great God is, one may think He would not want to be bothered with our day-to-day happenings of everyday average ebb and flow of an ordinary day. This is where we are sadly mistaken! To have clear communication with a friend or loved one, we must stay in contact with them; doing so helps us to know them better. The relationship between our Heavenly Father and us should be a top priority.

Beatitudes Bible Study Part 12: Don’t Cast Pearls To Swine

Jesus often speaks in parables. When we look at what a pearl represents, it’s more than just an ornament for beautiful jewelry. There are some big representations here when Jesus speaks of pearls, dogs, and swine. Jesus warns not to give that which is holy unto dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine. If just reading this, it may seem simple, but if we take a moment to understand what this truly means, we can apply it to our lives. Let’s look at a few of these and what they may represent according to the Bible.

Beatitudes Bible Study Part 11: Judge Not

How much clearer can Jesus be to us? Let us not judge others so that we may not be judged ourselves. Have you ever caught yourself scrunching your nose at someone or their situation? I have, not proud of it, but then God gently nudged me like He always does to get me out of the fleshly thought path. He reminds me that I was not in a good place with God, I still have my days, I’m nowhere near perfect, but I’m perfectly IMPERFECT! I’m a work in progress, and I can humbly admit this, as we all should!
