Week of September 7th
Let us be grateful for the things we have. When we have a grateful heart, we can concentrate on the things that God provides for us. In this world, there will always be that next new shiny object. If we aren’t grateful for what we have, we will never feel satisfaction. There will always be an urge to want more, which leads to greed.
Week of August 31st
Walking by Faith and not by sight. God’s wisdom is beyond man’s comprehension. We must learn to hear God’s voice above all others. Be cautious about who we surround ourselves with and the company we keep. Others may judge that what we do is foolish, but if we are aligned with God’s will, we are wise.
Week of August 3rd
Starting our day with worship — whether in song, prayer, or simply acknowledging God — sets the tone for the coming day. A joyful heart and a spirit of praise can shift our perspective and bring peace into our routine. When we give the first part of our day to the Lord, He helps to direct our path.
Week of July 27th
In the days we live in, it often seems like there’s always something new trying to grab our attention-something that stirs up fear, worry, or concern. But no matter what the world throws our way- take comfort in knowing that, no matter our circumstances —good or bad— God is an unshakable foundation.
